College Hill Businesses

In an increasingly homogenized world, communities that preserve their one-of-a-kind businesses and distinctive character have an economic advantage. Compared to chain stores, locally owned businesses recycle a much larger share of their revenue back into the local economy, enriching the whole community.

Explore our local business map which highlights a number of unique neighborhood businesses. Our local businesses are an integral part of our neighborhood. We encourage all our members to patronize.

Cups and Cones
: Is owned by Ken & Mary Kennon, though their daughter Kate manages all day to day operations. Ken, Mary, and Kate all live in College Hill. This delightful local store front, opened in early 2008, works hard to cater to College Hill, Forks Township, and Easton residents. Cups and Cones originally planned to serve only frozen custard treats (not to be mistaken for soft serve as it is dipped like ice cream); but has since expanded their menu to include homemade soups and quiche, as well as salads with an extensive list of toppings such as artichoke hearts, avocado and roasted red peppers (to name just a few).

The dessert toppings menu is just as expansive. Cups and Cones offers both chocolate and vanilla custards and prides itself on introducing new flavors, generally twice a month, repeating oft requested flavors while adding new flavors not yet tried.

Cups & Cones also makes ice cream cakes to order and can place edible images on a cake if the customer requests.

Mary Kennon opened Cups and Cones because she loves College Hill and wanted a place that local families could walk to enjoy a meal or a dessert together. The Kennon Family loves the atmosphere and friendliness of College Hill and hopes to provide an old fashioned experience for today's modern family.
